The first step towards upliftment is to educate. This will ensure that women become highly productive members of society. Therefore, the Noor Benevolent Trust has established the Al-Noor school for girls. On the one hand, the school ensures education opportunities for girls, and on the other hand, it provides employment opportunities for women.
The school is located in an underprivilegd neighbourhood of Gulshan-e-Iqbal, ln0own as Abbas Town. The population density here is considerable, and the neighbourhood lacked a school providing quality education. The major objective of the project are to ensure that women are provided the needed opportunities for empoerment that they need.
Future Plains
Al-Noor school plan to grow into post secondary education facility. It plans to start college level intermediate classes for the students. This will enable the girls to avail moreopportunities for education and guide them towards a University education if they so desire.
